Ich bin immer noch an Färbeversuchen! Zuerst wollte ich einen schönen Rotbraun-Ton mischen, eine Farbe 2 verschiedene Ergebnisse: links auf Baumwollsatin, rechts Baumwollpopeline. Es ist schon erstaunlich, wieviel intensiver die Farbe vom Satingewebe aufgenommen wird. Das 2. Bild sind Färbeversuche, wo ich die Stoffe nur wenig im Färbebad gewendet habe. Mir gefallen die entstanden Strukturen. Ich muss noch mehr ausprobieren.I did some dyeing again! First I wanted to mix a redish-brown. I got 2 different results on satin (left) and on popeline (right). In the next picture you can see some pieces I have only manipulated a bit to get the structures. I love my results and keep on traying.

I have the same experience with satin and Pima cotton. satin is superiour taking up colour and the shine is uncomparable. I often let my fabric stay over the night in the dyebath, specially fabric which I dye with red as an ingredience ,since red is hitting first and the other colours come more slowly, I will get something more reddish if I am to fast.
