Mir ist beim Herstellen meines Wochenquilts bewusst geworden, dass es nicht immer ganz einfach ist, Entwürfe mit den vorhandenen Mitteln umzusetzen und ich mir nun wirklich überlegen muss mit welchen Stoffen ich arbeiten will in Zukunft. Meine Auswahl an selbstgefärbten Stoffe ist noch sehr mager, und meine alten Patchworkstoffe bringen nicht das wieder, das ich ausdrücken will.
As I was sewing my weekly quilt I realized it is not easy to "transform" a painted sketch into textiles. My palet of dyed fabrics is limited and with the traditional fabrics I can't get the result I intend to receive.
